´T is the season to give...

Hi Ladies,

Hope you enjoy this years Holiday season.
In Freiburg, Germany, the weather is not nice. Many storms here, and very cold outside.

I´ve got a cold, because everyone around has been sick.
i am happy that i have no concerts this weekend....what a stressful period for us singers..you always are afraid of getting a cold or something..

I was very busy making my christmas card
technique explained on the post of my blog in november.
emboss resist with distress stains and water drops, directly after...

really quick card, made with thesnowflakes from the smiling snowman set..place them near to each other on an acrylic block, then you stamp very easy to the distress pad and unto the paper..the color is the new purple from the autumn set of tim holtz..finished with some gems.
stamp from Artistic outpost and sentiment Hero Arts.gems.

and as every year: my cookies..
i give them to all friends, neighbours, postman....and how i would love to offer you also some of them!!!!

i really enjoy making them.always in the late evening or even night...with some christmas music in the background.
Loooove the cd of Diana Krall christmas songs, or all the music for christmas of john rutter christmas john rutter.
Here are some more ideas for little gifts for people who surround you.
this is a card made with penny black stamps and hero arts snowflakes.
the inside is made with the half of an envelope (closed and cut in two..) with tea.

two teabags inside....

another pocketcard.

inside (sorry i don´t know how to turn the photo..)

And here .......some yummie chocolate cards....
chocolate bar wrapped in with paper, stamped on ...easy to make.
first wrap lightly the chocolate in the paper to see where you can stamp..then let dry after stamping and then glue...

the back of such a "card"..you can write a little message...here it is.....

little gift package with photo cards with   2 photos for each season .so cards for the whole year...
packed in a little plastic bag with tag...

Hope you all are well and cozy, some of you might already have the first snow....
What do you love most about christmas?
what are your special moments each year in this season?

Sending a warm hug to all of you,

Have a good time,
Looking forward to the new Hero Arts catalogue (also a special moment each year ,-)

Blessings,
Franziska
